Preschool Details: The Sheltering Arms Early Head Start program in the South Bronx is federally funded to serve 60 children, pregnant women and families. The program currently provides center-based and home-based service options, 48 families receive center-based services, 12 families receive home-based services. Through private funding we are able to serve 21 extra home-based families. Pregnant women receive support and educational services.
