Preschool Details: Early Head Start is a unique early childhood program that works in partnership with parents to make sure young children have the best possible start in life. Head Start is a comprehensive child and family development program that promotes school readiness in low-income preschool children. Services include education, health, nutrition, social services, and other child and family supports. Parents are involved in their children’s learning, and the program helps families in meeting their educational, literacy, and employment goals.
Eligible Requirements: Early Head Start: Families living in Central Falls, Pawtucket and South Providence; Pregnant woman and/or expectant fathers; Families with a child or children newborn to three years old; Families must meet income guidelines; Head Start: Families living in Providence, Pawtucket, Central Falls, Cumberland and Lincoln; Children ages 3 - 5 years of age; Children with disabilities; Homeless children; Families must meet income guidelines
