Preschool Details: The River St. Center is located at 18 River Street, Hudson Falls in the central, western area of Washington County. This center was originally a large Catholic school building, which was completely renovated in 1993. Programming schedule, options and services: Center-Based Early Head Start Program: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 3:00 pm; Serving 16 toddlers. Center-Based Preschool Program: Monday through Friday; Full day children may attend 8:00 am - 3:00 pm; Serving 54 preschoolers; Program follows public school calendar plus six weeks in the summer. Hot, nutritious meals are prepared on site. Bus transportation is available within limits. On site staffing includes: Site Manager/Family Worker; Family Worker; Education Coordinator; Disabilities Manager; Mental Health Counselor; 3 Home Visitors; 3 HS Lead Teachers, 3 HS Assistant Teachers, 3 HS Teacher's Aides; 2 EHS Lead Teachers, 2 EHS Assistant Teachers, 2 EHS Teacher's Aides; Secretary/Receptionist; 2 Cooks; 2 Bus Drivers.
