Preschool Details: Nominated for consideration as a National Center of Excellence in Early Childhood Education, the Early Head Start program provides child care services to eligible families with children under age three with comprehensive center-based programs and home visits.
Eligible Requirements: Services are FREE to those in Chinatown or on the Lower East Side and who qualify as low-income by federal poverty guidelines. A few priority slots are available to children with special needs & high-risk families who do not meet income requirements.
