This five-star center has three part-year Head Start classrooms, and one full-day part-year NC-Pre-K blended classroom of 18 children, for a total of 71 HS children. It also has three (3) full-year Early Head Start classrooms, two that serve two-year old children and one that serves one-year old children for a total of 24 EHS children. |

Location: Newport, NC - 28570 Contact Phone: (252) 223-0452 Details: The Newport Child Development Center is a leased facility located on the major throughway, NC Highway 70. This licensed, four star center* serves 63 children two years through five years old: 53 Head Start children and ten childcare-only children. Two Head Start classrooms are part-year, part-day only classes, one blended Head Start and NC-Pre-K class is part-year, full-day, operating five days a week for six and three-quarter hours per day. Ten two year olds can be served in child care services. |
